Some memories stay with us forever—not just because of where we were, but because of how they made us feel.
A beautiful story was recently shared by a member of the community:
“Our Family met Jay way back in the 60’s. He performed in the Casino shows (Princess) when my parents were Entertainment Director and Choreographer, and my sister and I were dancers in the early 90’s up until the Casino closed.
He was always a very kind, good-natured person with a great sense of humor and a lovely voice.
🎶 Another place, and time 🎶
“I miss him.”
Moments like these remind us that the legacy of Jay Mitchell is not only built on music—but on the lives he touched along the way.
From the stages of the Princess Casino to the hearts of those who experienced his performances, his presence left a lasting impression.
These are the stories we are committed to preserving—for family, for community, and for future generations.
